Building Capacity for Health IT, Health Information Exchange & Interoperability
April 13th, 2007
The concept of “building capacity”provides guidance around and information on the models, technologies, operations, standards and policies for health organizations – either state, federal orprivately owned – to deliver healthcare and health information in a technology-basedformat. It enables these organizations to develop the “capacity” to operate within a technology-enabled structure and ideally provide more accessible, lower cost, and higher quality healthcare.
