Support the Civilians for Veterans Fund
In April of 2008, the RAND National Security Research Division released the
nation’s first large-scale assessment of the psychological and cognitive needs of military service members who served in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last six years. The RAND report detailed that nearly 20 percent, or 300,000 service members, who have already returned from Iraq and Afghanistan report symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or major depression, and that only 54 percent of those 300,000 service members with PTSD or major depression sought help over the last year. Help us reach these veterans and their families!
The Civilians for Veterans Fund accepts donations to support the behavioral health needs of the OEF/OIF veterans and their
familymembers inColorado. Currently, free and confidential services through the Fund are only available to several rural communities in Colorado. With your help we can reach more folks who need support and eventually expand to other rural and urban communities!
Your contributions will go directly to treatment for those who have sacrificed so much and all contributions are tax deductible! Thank you for your support!
