The Marillac Clinic, a nonprofit clinic providing health services to low-income uninsured or underinsured Mesa County residents, is experiencing financially struggling as a result of the economic downturn.  The Clinic’s health services include primary, mental and dental healthcare and are largely supported by state funding.  These dollars continue to decrease as the State’s revenue becomes increasingly scarce,.  Meanwhile, demand for services have been steadily increasing as individuals are unable to afford health insurance while not qualifying for other public insurance programs.
