The National Council is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mental Health America for our 8th Annual Public Policy Institute and Hill Day, to be held June 25-26 in Washington, DC.
Members from the two organizations will join together over the two-day event to speak with their elected officials about policies that affect the mental health and addictions safety net. The partnership offers an opportunity to amplify our collective voice on Capitol Hill and create an ever-stronger presence in the halls of Congress.
“I am excited about this partnership and the opportunity to expand our presence at Hill Day 2012,” said Chuck Ingoglia, Senior Vice President for Public Policy and Practice Improvement at the National Council. “We look forward to working with Mental Health America to make this our biggest and most influential Hill Day yet.”
Our groups’ priority legislative issues for the event will include mental health and addictions funding, behavioral health IT, and more. Attendees will hear from our best-yet lineup of speakers, including elections experts, congressional staff, and administration officials.
