We are pleased to announce that Frank Cornelia has joined the CBHC team
as a Public Policy Specialist. His first day was Monday, February 6.
Frank has worked for a number of years in behavioral health care. He has
experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment in a
variety of settings. His experience in healthcare policy includes work
with the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC) on palliative
care, which is an integrated delivery model. Frank is a Licensed
Professional Counselor in Colorado and Montana and is a National
Certified Counselor. He has a Master of Science in Health and Human
Development from Montana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
Frank will work closely with Terri Hurst to provide legislative support
for CBHC members. He will also focus his efforts on SUD and integrated
care policy. Frank will be reaching out in the coming weeks to introduce
himself and to gather information from members and key stakeholders to
inform his work in this new role.
