CBHC Policy Informed by Core Principles

Easy Access to Care
Our Community Mental Health Centers act as the safety net system for our state. If you need help, they are here for you. Access our Community Mental Health Centers through CHBC’s system of providers.

Appropriate Levels of Care
We are all unique, we all deserve mental wellness, and we all deserve freedom. As such, we believe that care should be provided in the least restrictive setting.

Funding Innovative Care
Behavioral health and physical health go hand-in-hand, yet adequate and appropriate funding for behavioral health still lags behind that of physical health. We will continue to advocate for equality in this landscape.
