2018 Annual Training Conference Program Now Available

Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council’s 2018 Behavioral Training Conference takes place in Breckenridge, CO from October 10 – 13th, 2018. The theme, Connections Start Here, highlights the opportunities we have to work together to solve problems and change the behavioral healthcare landscape for all Coloradans.

Featuring:

Two Pre-Conferences:
1. Unlocking Suicidal Secrets: New Thoughts on Old Problems in Suicide Prevention | Featuring Shawn Shea, MD
2. The Opioid Crisis and Your Community: What Do We Do Now? | Featuring a panoply of local experts talk about real interventions and opportunities for action in local communities: Dr. Don Stader, Rob Valuck, Terri Hurst, Jess Fear, Kiley Floren, Ann Noonan, Lisa Raville, and Christine O’Neill.

Two Keynotes:

  1. Johann Hari, Author of Chasing the Scream, the War on Drugs
    2.
    Rachael Keefe, founder of Beach TheologyMany of the breakout sessions discuss the current changes within the Medicaid system and how to move forward whether it be on a clinical, business, or board basis. There are two double session-business trainings as well as three half-day clinical sessions.
