As Colorado navigated one of the most challenging budget environments in recent memory, CBHC remained focused on protecting and strengthening the behavioral health safety net. Throughout the 2026 legislative session, we worked closely with legislators, state agencies, and community partners to preserve critical investments, advance operationally workable policy solutions, and position Colorado’s behavioral health system for long-term sustainability.
