National Council DSM Training Resources

The fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) has been one of the most anticipated releases in the behavioral health field. Though many elements remain the same from the DSM-IV-TR, many others have changed. It is important to make sure your organization is aware and prepared for these changes.

As a result, Relias Learning, the National Council for Behavioral Health’s exclusive elearning partner, is currently updating over 100 courses to reflect the new standards outlined in the DSM-5.

Additional DSM-5 Resources

Here are two additional resources to help shed light on the DSM-5 and how if influences your organization:

  • In partnership, the National Council for Behavioral Health and Relias Learning developed a free webinar, “DSM-5 Changes: Clinical Overview & Business Implications.” This webinar is available for anyone to access on the National Council for Behavioral Health’s website.
  • Relias Learning has a free overview course on the DSM-5. This 30 minute course provides a basic overview of the DSM-5 and is appropriate for all levels of staff. View Free DSM-5 Overview Course
