SB25-290: Safety Net Provider Stabilization Fund

SB 25-290 represents a significant milestone for Colorado’s safety net. It was a response to the surge in uncompensated care resulting from the end of continuous Medicaid eligibility after the COVID public health emergency. Combining private and public funds, the bill is designed to provide support to safety net primary care and behavioral health providers this calendar year and for at least the next three years.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs)

A Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic federal model is designed to ensure access to coordinated comprehensive behavioral health care. CCBHCs must meet a set of national standards and transparency requirements. CBHC believes that CCBHCs will offer better access to care and outcomes.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. There are numerous modules for different age groups and specialty populations. CBHC is dedicated to bringing this course to as many Coloradans as possible.
