The Mental Health Center of Denver recently added three more mental health clinicians to RTD routes around the city to intervene in cases where someone is having a mental health crisis. Previously, the community mental health center had just one clinician ride the rails with RTD’s Transit Police Department. The program was so successful that they decided to expand the program.
