The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) announces the availability of Technical Assistance Publication (TAP) 21-A: Competencies for Substance Abuse Treatment Clinical Supervisors.  This research and consensus-based publication provides practical, clear lists of the competencies necessary for effective supervision in substance abuse treatment programs. It also provides administrators with step-by-step guidelines to implement structured supervision components in both State and private treatment systems.
